My music was somewhat panned at Heathen Harvest, in a review of my cdr Solid (W.A.R. Productions). Here is the review:

I read the review several times and realized in the end that I agree with a lot of it. Though I don’t find my songs to be boring (as reviewer Perceptron does), I do admit that compositionally they have a certain simplicity. I am more interested in subtle changes and developments in sound rather than larger, more obvious changes, and this has been true for some time.

Basically, his point being that his “naive” ears don’t appreciate the minimal ambient material in “Solid” just reminds me that my music is not for everyone, but for fans of certain kinds of esoteric industrial and ambient sounds.

And when he suggests that people try my music before buying it, I completely agree. Hence:

By the way, one small correction– the 19 copies of “Solid” sold out in 3 weeks. I don’t know why Perceptron thought there were more left.
