Mystified’s cd “Frigid Radiance”, track “Chimedrops”, was played on Galactic Travels Radio 7/30/2009. Galactic Travels is an electronic, ambient, and space music show, that airs each Thursday at 11:04 pm on WDIY 88.1 FM, Allentown and Bethlehem, PA, 93.9 FM in Easton, PA and Phillipsburg, NJ, 93.7 FM in Fogelsville and Trexlertown, and webcasting on the internet. WDIY also broadcasts in Digital HD at 88.1 FM.

“Trackless Depths” is another fine work by Thomas Park, signing this time as Mister Vapor. This gorgeous drone piece made with sounds of unknown (to us) origins is blurry and ethereal in the same time, quiet and minimal but everchanging. Ideal listening while daydreaming, meditating or sleeping.

Mister Vapor and Witte Dood Records are proud to present a new release– a 3″ cdr from Witte Dood Records called “Astral”. The piece is both dark and melodic, and was composed by converting sounds derived from planet earth into ambient tones. For more information:

This version of “Constant”, by Mister Vapor, uses blurred and effected sferics, which are sounds emitted by the earth. Less stable than the earliest of Constants, “Constant 25″ nonetheless provides a nice, consistent floating sound bed perfect for deep listening.
“Constant” pieces, for those unfamiliar, are musical works based on being as minimal as possible– finding the least possible thing necessary for listening. These pieces tend to be drone in nature. The original Constant appeared on Webbed Hand Records ( www.webbedhandrecords.com ), and others have been released at the TZP Drone Company ( http://www.archive.org/details/tzpdc ) and also here at Treetrunk.
