Musician mystified decided to flirt a little with modern urban audiences. Not to “sell out”, per se, or even to attempt to, say, “rap”, but to remix some gritty drones, adding rhythmic structures. This is the slightly industrial sound of cities– tones for threading between skyscrapers and through overpasses and parking garages.
“Beyond The Velvet Sky” is a 6-hour piece of ambient drone music by Mister Vapor. It will debut on Stillstream radio ( www.stillstream.com ) at 8 PM Central 8/25. This epic piece is now also available as a data cdr with artwork and notes, burned to disc as a 192 kbps mp3. Simply load the piece into your computer, and play for hours.
Mister Vapor will ship copies for $10. Interested? Contact mystifiedthomas (at) gmail (dot) com .

Mister Vapor’s “Rain 1″
Thomas Park’s newest recording project, Mister Vapor, debuts on Webbed Hand with a contribution to the Rain collection of long-form ambient.
Rain is a series of conceptual tracks produced for Webbed Hand Records. Each Rain is a CD-length ambient recording ideal for quiet listening while meditating, writing, or going to sleep. Typically the recordings in this series are minimalistic soundscapes, with motifs played out cyclically rather than progressively, in order to induce relaxed states.
