Previews are now available for mystified’s forthcoming cd from First Fallen Star. This cd, “Passing Through The Outer Gates”, is a 50-minute audio chronicle of mystified’s own death– a foretelling of his soul’s passage, according to his own beliefs. Thomas labored for many hours on these tracks, and is also excited about the packaging– the cd will come in a special dvd case with original art and other qualities– more on this soon. “Passing Through The Outer Gates” was mastered by Frederic Arbour of Cyclic Law and is due out in mid-2010. On their second collaborative album Mystified and N.Strahl.N present a pretty dark and isolationist soundwork. Mystified creates calm athmospheric pieces from N.Strahl.N´s concrete sounds and unfinished compositions, mostly using machinery sounds. N.Strahl.N builds up a maelstrom of hypnotic mechanical soundwalls, refined from Mystified´s electronic drones. Available for 8, - Euro + shipping. (Orders to: mario_loehr [at] t-online.de)
