Thomas of mystified, having listened to a recent net release through Batman and Robin Records, realized that the sounds in the release would function well both as individual songs and as raw material for remixes. Much of the sounds on this release, “Particular Streams”, are translations of field recordings made in South Saint Louis, Missouri.
When Thomas issued a call for musicians to use “Particular Streams” as source material for remixing, there was a solid response, and all kinds of different artists stepped forward and offered their interpretations. Thomas was especially happy with the diversity of the remixes. Definitely a lot of creativity went into each one.
Stay tuned, as additional volumes of this remix project may appear. . .

Thomas of mystified is pleased to announce that, very shortly (in a matter of weeks), a release will be made at Magnatune.
The release is called “Narcotic Basement”, and Thomas feels it is one of his best.
Magnatune, for those who are not familiar, is a groundbreaking internet label that allows customers to have free preview streams and to set their own prices for purchase. When bought, albums come in varying formats, such as hi-fi MP3 and lossless WAV.
Because of their policies and views, Magnatune is very interesting to Thomas. There are already many great artists on board. So surf on in, and check them out! Give them a bookmark.
